The terms in plain language
Four things worth knowing before you file anything.
Advance replacement
A certified contractor pulls your covered part from authorized distributor shelf stock and fits it, and we credit the branch. The standard claim review runs ten business days and is the fallback when shelf stock is the slower path.
Transfers once, free
Sell the house and the remaining coverage goes with it — one transfer, no fee, requested within 60 days of closing. The term does not restart; the new owner picks up what’s left of the original.
Coverage starts at install
Every term runs from the original installation date, not from the day you register and not from the day you buy the extension. Registering inside the 60-day window is what puts the record on file.
Your state law still applies
Implied warranties are limited to the length of this written warranty. Some states set a floor on that or restrict how incidental damages can be excluded, so you may hold rights beyond what is written here.
