Sconce Lighting for Lanais & Pool Enclosures
Smart lighting for the lanai and pool enclosure, built to be lived with. Solid brass fixtures mount to your vertical posts, entryways, and architectural walls, throwing light up and down at once for the layered glow that turns a lit structure into a room you actually want to sit in. Inside lives the HyperLux MR16 smart bulb — 16 million colors and tunable white, every fixture individually addressable, every scene one tap away in the app.
Choose Your Oasis
One property, one app, five taps. Sconces on the lanai posts, uplights in the oaks, the pool and the fire bowls — every fixture answering together, all on the same evening from the same camera. Set the mood for a quiet dinner or a full party without leaving your chair.

Every Night, Not Just Every Holiday
Color is what people show their friends. Crisp white is what they actually live in. Tune the mood anywhere from 2000K candle-warm to 7500K moonlight-crisp and the sconces throw a clean, even wash up the posts and down onto the deck — enough light to use the lanai comfortably, without the glare of a floodlight or the yellow cast of a porch bulb. Schedule it to sunset in the app once, and it simply happens every night.
Crisp white on every post — the same fixtures that run the color scenes, doing the everyday job.
Every Season. One Fixture.
One installation, photographed on four different nights. Every post throws color up and down at once — and because each fixture is addressed individually, you can alternate colors post to post or split a single sconce between two. Over 100 scenes are built into the app, and you never touch a ladder — it is all in the app.

HyperLux Technology · The Bulb Difference
Every conventional RGB bulb on the market shares the same hidden flaw: it can only drive one-third of its rated wattage into any single color. A 6 W RGB bulb has three channels — red, green, blue — each capable of roughly 2 W. Ask it for pure red and you get 2 W of red. It says 6 W on the box; in color mode it works at 2 W. HyperLux drive electronics reengineer that limit, so every color gets the full 5.5 W, with the white channel layering in to deepen saturation.
| Drive mode | Standard RGB bulb | Brighter Nights Lighting Technologies · HyperLux |
|---|---|---|
| Pure red | ~2 W · 200 lumens · washed out | 5.5 W · 600 lumens · saturated |
| Pure blue | ~2 W · 200 lumens · weak | 5.5 W · 600 lumens · deep and vivid |
| Color + white | Channels compete — color dies | All channels stack — color glows |
| From 50 ft | Color disappears outdoors | Color reads cleanly at distance |
The brightness you paid for is the brightness you get — in red, blue, white, or any of 16 million shades. HyperLux performance figures are manufacturer-reported.
The Bulb Inside
HyperLux is the drive electronics. This is the smart bulb they live in — a retrofittable MR16 with premium RGBW emitters, tunable white, and Bluetooth mesh networking built in, so the intelligence sits in the bulb rather than in a box on the wall. Because it is a bulb and not a sealed module, the light engine can be upgraded years from now without touching the fixture, the wire, or the transformer.

Solid Brass · Cast · IP64
Every sconce is cast in solid brass, available in Black, Bronze, or White. Two MR16 bulbs per full sconce, one per half sconce.

Smart Home · Individually Addressable IoT Lighting
This is the part most outdoor lighting gets wrong. In a typical system the whole run is one channel — every fixture shows the same color because they are wired to obey the same signal. Here, the intelligence lives in the bulb. Each MR16 is a node on the Bluetooth mesh with its own address, so every single sconce can be a different color at the same time, and the up-throw and down-throw can differ within one fixture.
Because the mesh is built fixture-to-fixture rather than router-to-fixture, none of this depends on your Wi-Fi staying up. The optional Wi-Fi bridge only adds access from outside the property; the addressing works regardless.
Choose Your Finish
Solid brass under a UV-stable powder coat, in three architectural finishes. Pick the one that disappears against your posts and the sconce reads as part of the structure by day — premium hardware that looks deliberate, not bolted on.

Brass does not rust. In coastal Florida — salt air, sprinkler overspray, pool chemistry — that is the whole argument. The fixture has been salt-spray tested for over 500 hours and carries a 10-year warranty on the fixture and transformer.

Sleek Modern Design
Color-only bulbs vanish in daylight. HyperLux drives a full 600 lumens per bulb, so your color reads clearly even before the sun goes down.
The body is a clean brass cylinder on a low-profile bracket — no visible fasteners, no cast ornament, no plastic lens ring — finished to sit against your enclosure frame rather than stand out from it. Paired with pool enclosure track lighting overhead, the two systems read as one install: track along the beams, sconces on the posts, the same colors on both from the same app.
What’s In Every System
Everything arrives in one box, pre-wired and sized to the property. Your certified contractor installs it in about a day, hands you the app, and that is the whole process.
Solid brass sconces in your selected finish · MR16 HyperLux RGBW bulbs · waterproof low-voltage transformer · all wiring and mounting hardware · Bluetooth mesh built into every bulb.
Three pack sizes — 4, 8, and 12 fixtures. Your certified contractor sizes the transformer. And because every MR16 is an independent Bluetooth mesh node, there is no ceiling on how many fixtures can link together — a single property can run hundreds of individually addressable sconces on the same mesh.

What Homeowners Are Saying
The sconce mounts to the vertical posts and walls your lanai already has, sized to sit against a post rather than announce itself. Where pool enclosure track lighting overhead handles the beams, the sconces work at eye level — and that eye-level layer is what turns a lit enclosure into a room. Every evening it is a warm architectural glow; every holiday it joins the rest of the property from the same app.

They do two different jobs on the same structure. The pool enclosure track lighting system mounts overhead on the self-mating beams and carries the color shows. The sconces mount on the vertical posts at eye level, and they are ambience — a warm dual-direction glow that makes the space feel like an outdoor room. Most enclosures get both, and both run on the same app.
Yes — every bulb is an addressable node on a Bluetooth mesh network, which is what makes it a smart lighting system rather than a colored bulb with a remote. From the app you set color and tunable white, dim, build and save scenes, group fixtures, schedule sunset-to-bedtime automation weekly, annually or by calendar, and control one fixture, one zone, or the whole property. No hub on the wall, no Wi-Fi dependency, no second app for the rest of your systems.
It is the same system either way. A lanai usually needs fewer fixtures — the 4-pack covers most — while a full pool enclosure runs 8 or 12 and is often paired with pool enclosure track lighting overhead. Sconces handle the vertical posts and eye-level mood; track handles the beams. Both run on the same mesh and the same app.
600 lumens at 5.5 W — and unlike a conventional RGB bulb, that is the output on every color, not just white.
Every conventional RGB bulb drives only about one-third of its rated wattage into any single color. A 6 W RGB bulb has red, green and blue channels at roughly 2 W each, so pure red gives you 2 W and about 200 lumens — washed out from any distance. HyperLux drive electronics give every color the full 5.5 W, with the white channel layering in to deepen saturation. That is the reported 3× difference, and outdoors at 50 feet it is the difference between color you can see and color you cannot. (Manufacturer-reported.)
A solid brass body with a UV-stable powder coat, in Matte Black, Antique Bronze, or Pure White. Brass does not rust — which is the entire argument in salt air, sprinkler spray, and pool chemistry.
The fixture is IP64 rated against driving rain and salt air, and has been salt-spray tested for over 500 hours. Solid brass and a UV-stable powder coat are the reason it holds up rather than chalking or corroding.
It is the light engine inside the sconce — an MR16 RGBW smart bulb taking 12 V input, with long-range Bluetooth mesh control built in. 16 million colors, tunable white from 2000K candle-warm to 7500K moonlight-crisp, and over 100 scenes. It is rated to 40,000 hours.
That is what a retrofit bulb is for. An existing 12 V MR16 fixture can be upgraded to full smart color without rewiring — and later you can upgrade the bulb again without touching the fixture, the wire, or the transformer.
No. The network is built fixture-to-fixture over Bluetooth mesh with a 200 ft range, not router-to-fixture — so Wi-Fi outages, dead cell zones, and ISP problems do not affect your lights. An optional Wi-Fi bridge adds control from anywhere in the world on top of the mesh.

Yes. All six shipping Brighter Nights Lighting Technologies systems — sconce, roofline, soffit, landscape, pool enclosure, and deck & dock — join the same Bluetooth mesh and the same app, with Bistro and Outdoor Flood joining soon. Adding a system later never means a second app or a second controller network.
