3× Brighter. By Design.
Every conventional RGB bulb on the market shares the same hidden flaw: it can only drive one-third of its rated wattage into any single color. A 6 W RGB bulb has three channels — red, green, blue — each capable of roughly 2 W. Ask it for pure red and you get 2 W of red. It says 6 W on the box; in color mode it works at 2 W. HyperLux drive electronics reengineer that limit, so every color gets the full 5.5 W, with the white channel layering in to deepen saturation.

This is the smart bulb they live in — a retrofittable MR16 with premium RGBW emitters, tunable white, and Bluetooth mesh networking built in, so the intelligence sits in the bulb rather than in a box on the wall. This is the part most outdoor lighting gets wrong. In a typical system the whole run is one channel — every fixture shows the same color because they are wired to obey the same signal. Here, the intelligence lives in the bulb. Each MR16 is a node on the Bluetooth mesh with its own address, so every single sconce can be a different color at the same time, and the up-throw and down-throw can differ within one fixture.
Because the mesh is built fixture-to-fixture rather than router-to-fixture, none of this depends on your Wi-Fi staying up. The optional Wi-Fi bridge only adds access from outside the property; the addressing works regardless.

What is the difference between the sconces and the pool enclosure track lighting?
They do two different jobs on the same structure. The pool enclosure track lighting system mounts overhead on the self-mating beams and carries the color shows. The sconces mount on the vertical posts at eye level, and they are ambience — a warm dual-direction glow that makes the space feel like an outdoor room. Most enclosures get both, and both run on the same app.
Is this a smart home system, and what does the app actually do?
Yes — every bulb is an addressable node on a Bluetooth mesh network, which is what makes it a smart lighting system rather than a colored bulb with a remote. From the app you set color and tunable white, dim, build and save scenes, group fixtures, schedule sunset-to-bedtime automation weekly, annually or by calendar, and control one fixture, one zone, or the whole property. No hub on the wall, no Wi-Fi dependency, no second app for the rest of your systems.
Will this work for lanai lighting as well as a full pool enclosure?
It is the same system either way. A lanai usually needs fewer fixtures — the 4-pack covers most — while a full pool enclosure runs 8 or 12 and is often paired with pool enclosure track lighting overhead. Sconces handle the vertical posts and eye-level mood; track handles the beams. Both run on the same mesh and the same app.
How bright is the sconce?
600 lumens at 5.5 W — and unlike a conventional RGB bulb, that is the output on every color, not just white.
What is HyperLux, and why does it matter?
Every conventional RGB bulb drives only about one-third of its rated wattage into any single color. Can I put the MR16 bulb in a fixture I already own?
That is what a retrofit bulb is for. An existing 12 V MR16 fixture can be upgraded to full smart color without rewiring — and later you can upgrade the bulb again without touching the fixture, the wire, or the transformer.
Do I need Wi-Fi?
No. The network is built fixture-to-fixture over Bluetooth mesh with a 200 ft range, not router-to-fixture — so Wi-Fi outages, dead cell zones, and ISP problems do not affect your lights. An optional Wi-Fi bridge adds control from anywhere in the world on top of the mesh.
