We don’t sell around you. We sell through you.

We built this from inside the trade — and that changes what we protect. The contractor relationship is not a footnote in our model, it is the whole thing. We do not sell around it, we do not discount around it, and we will not compromise it for volume. Homeowners come in pre-sold. Contractors buy from your branch. Every unit moves through the channel. That is not just our policy — it is what we believe in.

Permanent, not seasonal
$100K annual distributor commitment

Four links. We never skip one.

We have watched manufacturers say they support distribution, then open a web store the moment volume gets interesting. We will not do that — and that is not a marketing line, it is a structural commitment. Here is the chain, exactly where we sit in it, and why we fight to keep every link intact.

  1. Us

    Manufacturer

We build it and we create the demand.

    • Engineer and manufacture the six-system line — with two more coming.
    • Run the Masters of Lighting Academy that certifies installers.
    • Advertise to homeowners — and send every one of them to a contractor.
  2. You

    Distributor

You are the only way the product reaches a job.

    • Stock the line and sell it across your counter.
    • Every unit on every house is bought from a branch like yours.
    • There is no factory-direct route that goes around you.
  3. Your customer

    Certified installer

The contractor who buys from you.

    • Certified through the Academy before they can install.
    • Needs a stocking branch to source from — that is you.
    • Buys repeatedly, because the demand keeps arriving.
  4. Their customer

    Homeowner

    Arrives already sold.

    • Has seen their own house rendered with the lighting on it.
    • Comes to the contractor asking for the system by name.
    • Buys once, permanently — this is not a seasonal hang.

How distributors get started.

  1. Become a certified distributor.
Apply and get approved. Distributor pricing opens at a $100,000 annual commitment. No franchise fees. No territories.

  2. Stock the line.
Six shipping systems, kitted and ready to sell, plus a lit counter display so your reps sell from something they can see.

  3. Get your reps certified.
Counter and outside reps take the Distributor Course inside the Masters of Lighting Academy — the same certification, at no extra cost.

  4. Sell, ship, repeat.
Homeowner demand and certified contractors keep arriving at your counter — permanent lighting, not a seasonal spike.

The demand arrives already built.

We generate the demand so your contractors don’t have to chase it. A homeowner sees their own home rendered before they ever call a contractor — and that contractor buys the product from your branch. That loop matters to us. We protect every link in it.

Your reps get certified too

The MOLA Distributor Course is not contractor-only. Your branch and outside reps take the same training so a rep can scope a job at the counter instead of taking a message. A line nobody understands does not move.

Homeowners see it before they ask

A homeowner uploads one photo and gets their own house rendered with the lighting on it. They arrive at the contractor already sold on the look — which shortens everything downstream.

📞
Phone support evenings & weekends
  • Direct line for your reps — no hold queue, no ticket system

  • No Q4 spike that leaves stock sitting on the shelf in February
  • Year-round sell-through across holidays, seasons, and daily use
  • Every system added is a repeat purchase opportunity through your branch
🔗
Six systems · one app · repeat buys

  • Every system joins the same Bluetooth mesh and the same app
  • First job becomes the entry point — each add-on is a new purchase through you
  • Outdoor Flood and Bistro in development — more lines coming to your shelf
🔒
Leads never resold — one contractor
  • Homeowner leads route to exactly one certified installer — never shopped to four
  • Contractors protect their margin, which keeps them buying from your branch
  • No territories — your certified contractors can grow as far as they can sell
  • A contractor who keeps winning jobs keeps coming back to the counter

Field support

Your contractors are not on their own, and neither are you.

Most contractors buying this line have never installed permanent lighting before. We put in the effort to walk them through every step ourselves, so the technical burden lands on us — not on your counter.

On-site & field training

We walk a crew through a real job on a real house, not a slide deck, before they are installing on their own.

Installation support

Live backup on the job when a run does not go the way the plan said it would — a call, not a truck roll for you.

Rep training

Contractors train their own installer reps the same way we trained them, so the knowledge does not stop at the owner.

Phone support

A direct line for a contractor mid-job, not a ticket queue — because most of them are new to lighting, not new to the trade.

MOLA reps in-territory

MOLA field reps work your territory directly with your contractors — on-site, not remote.

Partner promotions

What this looks like at your branch.

Counter days, trade nights and job walks — run with the branches already carrying the line.

What lands at your branch.

Open any row. The specifics of how each one runs in your market are a conversation, not a web page.

Product
The six-system line, in kit form.
  • Roofline, soffit, landscape, deck and dock, sconce and pool enclosure — kitted, not loose parts. Bistro and Outdoor Flood are coming soon.
  • Distributor pricing opens at a $100,000 annual commitment.
  • Distributor pricing opens at a $100,000 annual commitment. Below that threshold, contact us to discuss your options.
Margin & turn
Why this line moves, and what protects your price.
  • Margin is protected — there is no factory-direct or online route that sells around your counter price.
  • Demand is permanent, not seasonal, so stock keeps turning instead of sitting through February the way holiday product does.
  • The Academy pipeline and the homeowner rendering funnel put a buyer behind almost everything you stock — turn is driven by demand we generate, not a guess on your shelf.
Counter display
A lit sample your reps can sell from.
  • Shows the fixture, the finish and the actual light — not a photograph of it.
  • Sits on the counter, so a contractor specifies from something they can see.
  • Ships as part of setting the branch up.
Training & field support
We come to you. Your reps don’t have to figure this out alone.
  • Rep certification: Counter and outside reps run the Masters of Lighting Academy — the same program certified contractors take. They learn the product line, the control system, how jobs are quoted, and how to answer a contractor’s questions at the counter.
  • Counter days: We schedule in-branch training days where we come to your location, walk your team through the line, and work the counter alongside your reps so they see real conversations in action.
  • Joint field training: We host trainings with your reps and their contractors together — in your market, at your location. Your contractors leave ready to install and your reps leave knowing the answers.
  • Phone and live support: Your reps have a direct line. When a contractor calls the counter with a question your team has not seen before, we answer it — evenings and weekends included.
  • Counter materials and literature: We supply everything your branch needs to sell the line. Spec sheets, sell sheets, install guides — your reps walk into every contractor conversation with the right tool in hand.
  • You don’t have to reinvent the wheel: If your branch has never stocked lighting before, that is fine. We have done this. We set you up, train your people, support the contractors, and generate the demand. You carry the inventory and collect the margin.
Quoting and takeoff support
Backup on live jobs, not just literature.
  • Help scoping linear feet, controller counts and power on a real house.
  • Aimed at getting the quote out the same day the contractor asks.
  • Your rep stays the point of contact — we sit behind them.
Installer referrals
Certified contractors sent to a stocking branch.
  • Every contractor we certify has to buy the product somewhere.
  • We point them at a branch that stocks it.
  • Which branch depends on who is carrying the line near them — worth a conversation.
Marketing assets
Co-branded, and yours to white-label.
  • Renderings, photography and spec sheets built for the branch.
  • Co-branded as standard.
  • The set can be white-labeled under your own identity.
Contractor referrals
A program for contractors who bring you in.
  • Certified contractors who introduce a distributor in their area are paid through our referral program.
  • Send them to us and we handle it.
Territory & terms
No franchise fees. No territories. $100K annual commitment.
  • We are not offering exclusivity, and we are not carving anyone out of an area.
  • No franchise fees, and nothing to apply for — meet the $100,000 annual commitment and you open distributor pricing.
  • What protects you is the channel — every unit still crosses a distributor counter.

The questions you’d ask first.

Will you ever sell direct to homeowners or contractors?

No. Distribution is the entire channel. Our marketing exists to create homeowner demand and route it to a certified contractor — and that contractor buys from a distributor.

Do homeowners see a price on your site?

They see an estimated installed range with their rendering. We never itemize product cost to a homeowner, and the firm quote always comes from the installing contractor.

Is this a seasonal product?

No. It is permanent architectural lighting that stays on the house year-round and covers holidays as a side effect. Demand is not concentrated into a single quarter the way seasonal lighting is.

How do certified contractors find my branch?

Every contractor we certify has to buy the product somewhere, and we send them to a stocking branch. How that routing works in your market is a short conversation — it depends on who is already carrying the line near you. Call 407-469-7093.

What does it take to stock the line?

Distributor pricing opens at a $100,000 annual commitment — submit your distributor application and we will review it within 2 business days. Below that threshold, contact us to discuss your options. Without the commitment you are simply not carrying the line as a distributor, so distributor pricing does not apply and neither does the program that comes with it: the rep training, the counter support, the white-label marketing set and the installer referrals. Those are what the commitment buys.

Do my reps get trained, or only the contractors?

Both. Your counter and outside reps take the same Masters of Lighting Academy training the contractors do, so the branch can answer a specification question rather than forward it. Certification is the same program either way.

Can I put my own name on the marketing?

Yes. Renderings, photography and spec sheets come co-branded, and the set can be white-labeled under your own identity for your own sales effort.

One of my contractors wants their supplier to carry the line.

Send them to us. Certified contractors who bring us a distributor in their area are paid through our referral program.

Is my territory protected?

No. There are no territory restrictions — we are not offering exclusivity, and we are not carving anyone out of an area. There are no franchise fees either, and nothing to apply for: meet the $100,000 annual commitment and you open distributor pricing. What protects you is the channel itself: every unit still has to cross a distributor counter.

Support that ships with the line

We make it simple to carry a line your branch has never stocked before.

You don’t need lighting experience. You need a manufacturer that shows up.

Rep certification

Your counter and outside reps run the Masters of Lighting Academy. They learn the product, the architecture, and how to quote a job — so a contractor gets a real answer at the counter, not a callback.

Counter days & joint training

We come to your branch. We train your reps and their contractors together — in your market, at your location. Your team sees real conversations. Your contractors leave ready to install.

Phone support — evenings and weekends

When a contractor calls the counter with a question, we answer it. Your reps have a direct line. No hold queue. No callback. A person who knows the parts.

Counter materials & literature

We supply everything your team needs to sell the line. Spec sheets, sell sheets, install guides — ready before the first contractor walks in.

Demand we generate

The homeowner rendering funnel and the Academy contractor pipeline put buyers behind the inventory you stock. You are not guessing on shelf fill — demand is already in motion.

No reinventing the wheel

We set you up, train your people, support the field, and generate the pull. You carry the inventory and collect the margin. That is the whole arrangement.
