Activate My Warranty

Six Systems. One App.

This is the real power of Brighter Nights Lighting Technologies: the dock is only the beginning. Every shipping system on the property — roofline, soffit, sconce, landscape, pool enclosure, deck and dock — joins the same Bluetooth mesh, and every fixture answers to one app, one login, one set of scenes. Add a system later, like the forthcoming flood line, and it simply appears alongside the rest. No second brand, no second controller network, no second service number.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need Wi-Fi to use these lights?

No. The system runs on its own Bluetooth mesh network between the fixtures and the controller, so your lights keep working even when your internet is down. A Wi-Fi gateway is available as an add-on if you want remote access from anywhere.

How is Brighter Nights Lighting Technologies different from other permanent lighting brands?

Sealed, spliceless architecture and one app across every system on the property. Fixtures are specified for the marine environment, the controller and power supply are outdoor-rated, and every fixture is individually addressable. Compare us to any brand, side by side.

What does deck and dock lighting cost?

Every waterfront is different — fixture count and lead-line run length depend on your dock, seawall, pilings or walkway, so the real answer comes from a quote on your actual layout. Register with Design Brighter for a free design consultation; instant rendering and estimating is coming soon, with every path already set up for it.

What is the warranty?

Ten years on the Cleat fixture and the coaxial lead lines, and three years on the power supply, controller and Wi-Fi gateway, with the controller extendable to five — ask your installer about extended coverage. Registering your system within 60 days of installation activates the coverage.

How long do permanent dock lights last?

The Cleat fixtures are built on 40,000-hour rated LEDs — at a typical few hours of use per night, that’s decades of service, not seasons. Each fixture is a permanent, core-drilled architectural install, and the 10-year warranty on the fixture and coaxial lead lines reflects how the system is built.

Can permanent lights handle hurricanes, salt air, and storm season?

That’s exactly what this system is engineered for. The Cleat fixture is IP67 sealed against jetting water, rain and washdown, each one is core-drilled into pavers, composite or wood decking rather than clipped or glued on, there are no field splices to corrode — sealed coaxial leads connect fixture to fixture — and even the controller and power supply are waterproof and outdoor-rated.

Can I leave them up all year?

That’s the point. Each fixture is a permanent architectural install, so the lights stay up and simply turn off when you don’t want them on. Warm white is what most homeowners run day to day.

How much energy does it use?

Very little. The system runs on a 200-watt power supply and Brighter Nights Lighting Technologies fixtures are engineered to draw about one-third the energy of standard LED fixtures, so nightly warm white costs pennies to run.

Can I install it myself?

No — Brighter Nights Lighting Technologies is a manufacturer. Every system is installed by an independent contractor certified through our Masters of Lighting Academy. Installation involves core-drilled fixture mounting, low-voltage coaxial runs, and waterproof controller and power placement, and warranty coverage depends on certified installation. Find your certified installer.

Can I add other lighting later?

Yes. Roofline, soffit, landscape, sconce, deck and the rest join the same Bluetooth mesh and the same app, so adding a system later doesn’t mean a second app or a second controller network.
