The Program

Built Around the Installer.

The Academy, the training, the support, the products, the ecosystem — the five things this program is actually made of. Swipe through them.

Your Leads

We never shop your lead.

Most manufacturer lead programs are lead resale with a nicer name. You pay for a contact that three competitors also paid for, and the job goes to whoever cut their price hardest. Here is how ours works, stated plainly:

  • A homeowner submits a lighting request on this site.
  • That request routes to one certified installer — not four of you, not a bidding sheet, not whoever answers first.
  • The homeowner’s details are never sold, never added to a call list, never shopped to a list of competitors.
  • They arrive with a rendering of their own home and an installed range already set — you’re having a scheduling conversation, not a bidding one.

Training & Support

Support that actually answers.

This program is built for contractors who want backup — before the quote, on the job, and at the counter.

  • Support in estimating and renderings — before you commit to a number, not after you’ve guessed.
  • Support on the job — by phone, by video, or with a specialist standing on your job site.
  • Over-the-phone support with ordering — a person who knows the parts, not a hold queue.
  • Live support that answers — evenings and weekends included. Certified contractors are never stuck waiting on a callback to close a job.

The Ecosystem

One system to learn. Eight ways to sell it.

Certification doesn’t buy you one SKU — it opens the whole line card.

  • Learn it once. The same app, the same controllers, and the same install patterns run every line.
  • One certification unlocks every product, so a roofline job can grow into a whole‑property job.
  • New lines drop straight into the system you already know. No retraining, no second app.

The Ecosystem · Products

Six lines shipping now.

Every line joins the same app, so add‑on work is an upsell, not a second system.

  • Shipping today: Roofline, Soffit, Landscape, Deck & Dock, Pool Enclosure, and Outdoor Sconce.
  • Bistro and Outdoor Flood are next, and they join the same app the moment they land.
  • One customer, one app, eight ways to grow the ticket.

How It Works

From Application to Certified Installer.

Step 2 · Certification

Pass and get certified.

Every module ends in a test, and you can retake any test until you pass. Passing makes you a certified installer and releases your 100 credits.

Step 3 · On the Job

Install with backup.

Quote and install with the calculators, the contractor Light Genie, phone consultations, and live support behind you — on-site training if you want it.

Step 4 · Your Leads

Receive matched homeowners.

Rendering requests route to one certified installer — never shopped, never resold. There are no territories: grow and scale as far as you can sell.

Step 5 · Grow

Put the Genie to work.

Turn the Genie loose on the business side — estimates, email campaigns, door knockers, trifolds and brochures, generated in your branding and ready to send.

Are You A Contractor?

Brighter Nights Lighting Technologies is the manufacturer — certified independent contractors do every install.

Graduate from our Masters of Lighting Academy (MOLA), pass the certification exam, and start receiving homeowner leads generated right here on this site.

Calculators

Sizing, run-length and quote calculators for every one of our six shipping lines — built for the counter or the driveway, not a spreadsheet.

Masters of Lighting Academy

The certification course: $1,000, self-paced, online. Pass it and you’re certified to install — and it comes with 100 credits to spend on the support below.

Phone Consultations

Spend credits on a live call with a specialist — sizing questions, tricky runs, or a second opinion before you quote a job.

Live Support

Someone is available — Saturdays, Sundays, evenings. Certified contractors are never stuck waiting on a callback to close a job.

On-Site Training

Credits also cover on-site training — a specialist walks your crew through an install on your job site, not a classroom.

Light Genie Access

Your certified tier of the Light Genie — instant renderings, estimates and answers, so you can quote a job on the driveway instead of back at the office.

Engineering · Thermal

24 volts, half the current.

Heat rises with the square of the current. The controller lines run 24V — half the current of a 12V run at the same power, which is where connection heat and corrosion failures actually live.

Hardware · Weatherproofing

Controller and power supply are outdoor-rated.

Fully waterproof, so you are not negotiating garage wall space or drilling through the conditioned envelope to place electronics.

Scale · Roofline

1,000 ft per controller.

Roofline track systems expand to 1,000 linear feet on a single controller — fewer pieces of hardware to mount, power, and eventually service.

Reliability · Connectivity

No Wi-Fi dependency.

The system runs on its own Bluetooth mesh. You are not the person who gets called when the homeowner changes their router.

Coverage · Warranty

A warranty that has your back.

Certified installation is what activates coverage. The homeowner registers within 60 days at Activate My Warranty, and the gateway and power supply both carry 3-year terms.

Who this is built for.

Being straight about fit saves us both a call.

  • Licensed and insured contractors already working in exterior lighting, electrical, landscape or holiday lighting.
  • Businesses that want a line, not a product. This works when permanent lighting becomes something you sell deliberately.
  • Crews willing to be certified. Warranty coverage depends on certified installation, so this is not optional.
  • Contractors who want support — in estimating and renderings, on the job, and over the phone with ordering.
  • Operators who want room to grow. There are no territories — this runs nationwide, and you scale as far as you can sell.

Contractor Toolkit

Tools that live where the job does.

Straight answers.

Do I buy from you directly?

No. Brighter Nights Lighting Technologies sells through distribution — product reaches you through a distributor branch. We manufacture, certify and generate demand; we do not compete with the channel that stocks us.

Am I competing with other certified installers for the same job?

Not on a lead we send you. One certified installer receives each matched homeowner. What we do not control is a homeowner who independently calls three contractors — but they will not get your lead from us.

Does the homeowner already have a price when they reach me?

They have an estimated installed range and a rendering of their own home. The firm, final number is yours to quote. We deliberately never itemise product cost to a homeowner.

What does certification cost and how long does it take?

The certification course is $1,000. The Masters of Lighting Academy is the course; certification is what you hold after passing it — every module ends in a test, and passing the tests is what makes you certified. It is self-paced and online: most contractors work through the eleven modules in about a week of evenings, and you can retake any test until you pass.

Is my territory protected?

There are no territories — the program runs nationwide, and we do not fence certified contractors into a defined area. You can grow and scale as far as you can sell. What protects your individual leads is the routing policy, not a map: each homeowner request we generate goes to one certified installer, never to a list.

What support do I get once I’m certified?

Certification unlocks the certified contractor Light Genie, the pricing calculators, and the ability to run renderings and estimates yourself. The $1,000 course also includes 100 credits, released when you pass — spendable on renderings, estimates, email campaigns, phone or video training, and on-site training. On top of the credits, live support answers evenings and weekends.

What would I actually be installing?

Six shipping lines — Roofline, Soffit, Landscape, Deck & Dock, Pool Enclosure, and Outdoor Sconce — with Bistro and Outdoor Flood coming soon. Every line joins the same app and ecosystem. The Roofline controller is four-port, every other controller line is single-port, and roofline track systems expand to 1,000 ft per controller; Landscape and Sconce are 12V transformer lines whose bulbs talk to the app directly over built-in Bluetooth.

How does the warranty work on the systems I install?

Certified installation is what activates warranty coverage — that is why certification is not optional, and it protects your work as much as ours. The homeowner registers within 60 days of installation at Activate My Warranty; the gateway and power supply both carry 3-year terms.
